AmerenCIPS, AmerenCILCO and AmerenIP
territories. Tylex has local representation in these
areas.
Tylex has the longest track record with pooling
behind AmerenCIPS and AmerenIP.
Tylex takes an individualized customer approach
to managing gas services for our customers which
helps minimize cost.
Tylex provides full service gas purchasing and management
on a monthly,
annual and multi-year basis, which includes a variety of
pricing options,
including fixed pricing, NYMEX and Gas Daily pricing, price
caps, and
triggers. We tailor the pricing to best fit the needs of
each customer.
Tylex has long term FIRM transportation agreements in place
with Panhandle Eastern Pipeline (PEPL), Natural Gas Pipeline
of America (NGPL), and Trunkline Gas Company (TRK).
Tylex can provide risk management customized to meet
each customer’s particular need, based on hedging customer’s
gas purchases to help minimize price volatility. This can be
accomplished by various pricing options that are discussed
with the customer.
Tylex manages our customer’s banks to minimize if
not eliminate system gas charges and guarantees no excess bank
penalties.
Tylex handles all of the nomination process. Daily
nominations are based on anticipated needs using historical
data and weather conditions.
Tylex’s scheduling process
for each individual customer takes into account several factors,
including bank balancing, daily operations, and shut downs.
